Looking for a new dinner spot to bring a hot date? Try Babbo! I ate there last Thursday night and was extremely impressed with the decor, atmosphere, and overall dining experience.

We ordered an overwhelming number of appetizers that miraculously were all eaten. My two favorites were the beet and brussels sprouts. I wish  I ordered another brussells sprout dish for myself, which was a cold salad with pancetta and a delicious vinaigrette. I didn't particularly like the cauliflower or broccoli rabe, both had an odd taste. 

The pizzas were all tasty and creative. We have the guanciale, sausage and ridicchio, and meatball. The sausage and ridicchio was my favorite. Unfortunately it was eaten before I could snap a photo. The downside of the pizzas were the thin and under cooked crust. It was a little hard to eat, and lack the crispy crust one desires.

Now let's talk pasta!Ohhh the pasta! We ordered two pastas and both were delicious. I love bucatini which the pastas happened to feature. I recommend the Bucatini all Amatriciana. It was spicy, salty, and cooked perfectly!
