Portugal- My home away from home

Bon Dia!

Portugal is a stunning country full of culture and life.  While in Portugal I went to Lagos, Lisbon, and Cascais.  Cobblestone streets, colorful houses, historic squares galore.

Lagos was beautiful, white beaches and crystal blue water. We happened to be there during a cold front so the water was a bit chilly, but that didn't stop us from kayaking, swimming, and exploring.

There are a couple of places to eat right on the beach, but my favorite was Bahia Bar and Restaurant.

By far, Lisbon was my favorite spot in Portugal. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and ready to party!

Did I mention the insanely delicious food? Oh the food! My favorite thing to eat in Portugal was a Prego aka bifana. It is basically a dessert sandwich, which let's face it, is the best kind of sandwich. The fish was fresh, and commonly served whole. This is the place to try sardines! You heard me, sardines.

If you have not been to Portugal, you need to get going. My flight was $700 round trip! How can you beat that?
